Sanded Pastel Paper

Pastel Premier Eco Boards are a lightweight, sturdy, environmentally friendly pastel surface designed for easy use, storage and transport. The pastel paper that is double-primed and coated with an aluminum oxide to produce an ideal surface for pastel painting, and is mounted on a 1/8" Eco Board. The base paper is heavy 145 lb. (300 gsm) and withstands any measure of scrubbing and re-working. This paper accepts as many as 25 layers of pastel, and works well with oil and acrylic paints, colored pencils and other dry media.
