How to Use This Paint

The Amsterdam Standard Series is Amsterdam's student grade acrylic paint.  It is good value for beginners, especially when purchased in sets. The paint is medium viscosity and provides nice brush strokes and texture, but can also cover large areas with a smooth color.  A highly permanent acrylic paint with excellent lightfastness.

Suitable for painting murals.

This set provides a balanced color palette and multiple opacities

How This Paint Is Made

Made with pure stable, pigments.

Tubes are recyclable.  The trays in all Amsterdam sets are made of 100% recycled plastic and are produced locally. Also, the cardboard packaging is partially made of recycled cardboard.

Sustainable Manufacturing Processes

Amsterdam Expert Series acrylic paints are manufactured in the Netherlands by Royal Talens.  Royal Talens practices progressive social and environmental practices.  Sustainability initiatives include reducing electricity by 2% per year, decreasing transportation mileage by sourcing and manufacturing locally, programs to minimize fuel consumption, use of solar energy (780 panels), using FSC certified paper and wood and reusing transport packaging.  Suppliers are assessed based on their performance in child labour, working conditions, compliance with laws and regulations, sustainability and corruption.
